<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic observation system that regenerates a coordinate transformation table responding to the type or range of an ultrasonic probe used, and an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus using this ultrasonic observation system. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic observation system 4 generates ultrasonic images from the acoustic data available from a removable electronic scanning ultrasonic probe 2 and a removable mechanical scanning ultrasonic probe 3. The system 4 is provided with a controller 21 that detects a coordinate transformation table 23 used for generating image data for pixel positions for display and the type or range of these probes 2 and 3 from the sound data obtained from them, and performs generation treatments to regenerate the coordinate transformation table 23 from the detected types or ranges of the probes 2 and 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
