POLYURETHANE FOAM PRODUCT WITH CONTROLLED RELEASE OF AGENT AND ADDITIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a urethane foam product with controlled release of various chemicals.

SOLUTION: The controlled release urethane foam product comprises a reaction composition of an aqueous blend comprising 0.05-0.5 wt.% of a superabsorbent polymer, 0.05-15 wt.% of various chemicals, 0.25-80 wt.% of a hydrophilic urethane prepolymer and 15-80 wt.% of water (wherein wt.% is on the basis of the aqueous blend), wherein the chemicals are dispersed substantially uniformly in the entire matrix of the formed controlled release urethane foam product, and gradually released by the contact with flowing water.
