PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent accumulation of powder ice on a conveying path and prevent conveyed ice grains from clogging. SOLUTION: The ice making machine 2 used for the ice grain injection device 1 for blasting the ice grains C3 on a surface of a work together with high-pressure water W, comprises a refrigeration drum 22 for forming an ice layer C2 on an inner wall 22a by freezing ice making water C1 sprinkled from a water sprinkling device 21, a blade 6 having a sawtooth ice crushing blade 61 for producing the ice grains C3 by chipping the ice layer C2 with the ice crushing blade 61, and a rotation device 23 for rotating the blade 6 along the inner wall 22a while fixing on the inner wall 22a. The ice crushing blade 61 is formed to have a blade edge rake angle from -10°to -55°. The device further includes a cleaning nozzle 8 for cleaning the powder ice accumulated on the blade 6, and a scraper 31 for eliminating the powder ice accumulated on an inner wall 3c of a funnel 3 for collecting the ice grains C3.
