PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of miniaturizing its constitution, and comprising a humidifying function for increasing humidification amount to a room by efficiently capturing the sufficient amount of moisture from the outside air. SOLUTION: An outdoor unit Sb of this air conditioner S comprises a refrigerating cycle chamber 3 receiving a compressor 5, an outdoor heat exchanger 6 and an outdoor air blower 7 at a lower portion of a partitioning plate 2 in a housing 1, and a humidifying chamber 4 receiving a humidifying device K at the upper portion. The humidifying device comprises a ventilation flue 12 for adsorption to allow the outside air to pass therethrough, an adsorption rotating body 21 partially placed in the ventilation flue for adsorption, and rotated and driven to adsorb the moisture from the outside air guided to the ventilation flue for adsorption, a ventilation flue 13 for regeneration partially closely kept into contact with the ventilation flue for adsorption, partially receiving a remaining part of the adsorption rotating body to guide the air for heat exchange, of high temperature, and releasing the moisture adsorbed to the adsorption rotating body into the air for heat exchange, and a humidification medium conveying passage 10 for carrying and releasing high moisture in the air for heat exchange indoors. A closely-contact part of the ventilation flue for adsorption and the ventilation flue for regeneration through the adsorption rotating body is disposed horizontally to each other, and the adsorption rotating body is supported with an obliquely inclined attitude.
