The plug (10) has a connection pin (14) arranged in a plug housing (12). A heating coil (24) is electrically contacted with the connection pin. The heating coil is arranged in a glow chamber (16) that is sealed by a gas-tight sealing (28) made of glass or ceramic material e.g. borosilicate glass or zinc-glass or magnesium or aluminum. The gas-tight sealing is provided with an auxiliary disk (26) designed as a polymer ring. The glow chamber is made of reactive calcium, magnesium and aluminum-content alloy powders.
