Disclosed is a resin composition comprising: a polyamide elastomer containing 50 mass% or more of a polyether amide elastomer (X) as an essential component; and at least one selected from (a) a thermoplastic resin and (b) a fire-retardant agent or a magnetic powder as a coexistent component, wherein the polyether amide elastomer (X) is produced by the polymerization of a component comprising the following items (A) to (C): (A) a diamine compound (A) composed of a triblock polyether diamine compound (A1) represented by the formula (1) and at least one diamine compound (A2) selected from the group consisting of a branched saturated diamine having 6 to 22 carbon atoms, a branched alicyclic diamine having 6 to 16 carbon atoms and norbornane diamine; (B) a polyamide-forming monomer (B); and (C) a dicarboxylic acid compound (C). The resin composition has improved flexibility and impact resistance, and also has excellent resistance against hydrolysis. (1)
