<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent performance degradation of a fuel cell and deterioration of a fuel electrode by preventing a terminal from being corroded by preventing the terminal from contacting a humid reaction gas atmosphere, and by preventing leakage of a corroded constituent. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell device includes: a fuel cell power generation part composed by electrically connecting a plurality of fuel cells each formed by sandwiching an electrolyte layer between a fuel electrode and an oxygen electrode to one another by interposing separators each having a fuel passage formed along the fuel electrode and an oxidizer passage formed along the oxygen electrode; and side end holding parts arranged on both sides of the fuel cell power generation part. The side end holding part is provided with a terminal contacting the separator located on the outermost side of the fuel cell power generation part, and an insulator contacting the terminal; and the insulator is provided with a side end through-hole connected to the fuel passage, and covers the terminal to prevent it from contacting a humid reaction gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
