<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide audio intended by contents video-recorded on an optical disk. <P>SOLUTION: An audio playback apparatus includes: a receiving means for acquiring audio packets of audio data output from the predetermined number of channels; a down mix information receiving means for acquiring down mix coefficient information; a control means for deciding whether to perform down mix processing for the audio packet using the down mix coefficient information; an audio processing means for performing down mix processing on the audio packet on the basis of the down mix coefficient information in a case where the control means decides that down mix processing is to be performed for the audio packet; and an audio output means for outputting, to a speaker connecting terminal, audio data for which down mix processing has been performed by the audio processing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
