OPTICAL DISK DRIVE AND INFORMATION REPRODUCING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To complete an information reproduction from a hologram recorded in an optical disk in a short period of time.

SOLUTION: A control part of the optical disk drive joins both focal points Fb1 and FB2 of two blue light beams Lb1 and Lb2 to a target mark position and makes them interfere with each other to form a recording mark when information is recorded to the optical disk 100 and can obtain reproducing signals of two series by joining the focal points Fb1 and Fb2 of the two blue light beams Lb1 and Lb2 to target positions different from each other to generate blue reproducing light beams Lb5 and Lb6 from first and second recording marks located in positions different from each other in a recording layer 101 of the optical disk 100 when information is reproduced from the optical disk 100. One reproducing signal having double reproducing speed can be formed by unifying these reproducing signals.
