<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound for an organic EL device, which is a specific tetraaryldiamine derivative having a photo- or electronic function with slight physical change, photochemical change and electrochemical change. <P>SOLUTION: The compound has a high melting point and a high glass transition temperature. A thin film formed by vacuum vapor deposition etc., of the compound achieves a transparent amorphous state which is stable even at room temperature or higher and presents a smooth and good film quality. Therefore, the compound can be made into a thin film by itself without using any binder resin. The compound is intended for use in an organic compound layer, especially preferably in a positive hole-injection transport layer, therefore enabling uniform planar emission, offering high luminance over a long period of time and being excellent in durability and reliability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
