<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent conductive material which can improve the durability of a transparent conductor and to provide the transparent conductor. <P>SOLUTION: The transparent conductive material contains a conductive particle 11, a polyfunctional compound, and an organic compound having a side chain including an ester group; wherein the ester group is expressed by -C00R, where R is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having a carbon atom number of 2 or greater. Preferably, the alkyl group is a linear alkyl group; the alkyl group is a fluorine-substituted alkyl group. Preferably, the organic compound has a weight-average molecular weight of at least 100,000.
