<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of running out of parts during production, to maintain and improve production efficiency, in a part mounting system. <P>SOLUTION: In a part mounting system consisting of a plurality of mounters, a feeder is registered in advance in the database along with attribute information containing part name. At arrangement for an arbitrary mounter, the database is searched with the attribute information containing part name as a search condition, and the feeder that was found is allocated to a corresponding mounter.
