PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated conductive particle excelling in connection reliability; a manufacturing method of a coated conductive particle; an anisotropic conductive adhesive; and a conductive adhesive. SOLUTION: This coated conductive particle is characterized by being formed by coating at least a part of a metal surface of a conductive particle 2 having the conductive metal surface with a polymer electrolyte 1. Connectivity between a metal and another metal is increased by entering the polymer electrolyte between the metals to improve conductivity. Since the average thickness of the polymer electrolyte is not larger than 0.1Å, the polymer electrolyte never adversely affects the conductivity. Since a functional group is present on the surface of the metal particle, the conductive particle is fixed to an adhesive resin and thereby an effect of increasing reliability can be provided.
