摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing apparatus capable of suppressing deterioration in display quality due to gap unevenness in a constitution in which ink having spacers mixed therein is discharged using an inkjet head having a plurality of inkjet nozzles. SOLUTION: When the ink with the spacers mixed therein is discharged to a TFT substrate or a CF substrate, or to the both substrates by moving the inkjet head 3 having the plurality of inkjet nozzles 2, moving operations of the inkjet head 3 and/or an X-Y table 4 are controlled so that traces of a part of the plurality of inkjet nozzles 2 overlap with each other, and the plurality of inkjet nozzles 2 are controlled so that the ink is not overlappingly discharged in the overlapping part. Thus, the steepness of variation of the discharge amount of the ink (the number of ejected spacers) at a joint part of the traces of the inkjet head 3 is relaxed, and the gap unevenness is hardly visible.
