RECORDING PARAMETER SETUP METHOD, INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM, AND ITS REPRODUCING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form recording marks which obtain more reliable and excellent reproduced signals while suppressing the number of recording parameters. SOLUTION: This method has a first recording parameter group classifying process to classify the first recording parameter group of the head section for controlling the heat on the front edges of the recording marks wherein the parameter group is a pulse train for forming recording marks from a first predetermined recorded mark length to the maximum recording mark length on the information recording medium according to at least the recording mark length of the recording information and also classify the mark length from the first predetermined recording mark length to the maximum recording mark length into the same group; and a second recording parameter classifying process to classify the second recording parameter group to control the heat on the rear edges of the recording marks according to at least the recording mark length of the recording information, and also to classify the mark lengths from the second predetermined recording mark length to the maximum recording mark length into the same group.
