PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Web content conversion and editing system that absorbs constrains on a mobile station. SOLUTION: When a compressed content is required by a mobile station 10, the Web content conversion and editing system 12 acquires an uncompressed content from application servers 13a-13c. The Web content conversion and editing system compresses the acquired content into a compression type specified by the mobile station 10 to transmit to the mobile station 10. As a result of this, after the content acquired from a content provider is decompressed, the necessity for performing further compression can be eliminated, and thus the deterioration of processing efficiency can be prevented.
