PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously producing a coated steel product coated with coating material of sulfur or the like in a short period of time while maintaining the corrosion resistance thereof comparable with that by the conventional method. SOLUTION: Sulfur or the like is melted and kneaded to obtain the coating material. The melted and kneaded coating material is charged to an extrusion apparatus having a sizing die, and the surface of a steel product stock passing inside the sizing die is continuously covered with the coating material at a prescribed film thickness.
