NEAR INFRARED ABSORBING ADHESIVE SHEET, AND FRONT FILTER FOR PLASMA DISPLAY USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a near infrared absorbing adhesive sheet having high absorbing ability covering a wide near infrared ray region and excellent in wet heat resistance. SOLUTION: The near infrared absorbing adhesive sheet comprises a near infrared absorbing compound and an adhesive resin as main ingredients. The near infrared absorbing compound comprises one of a diimonium salt compound, a phthalocyanine-based compound and a metal complex-based compound, and an adhesive resin having≤0.2 mass% of an unreacted amount of a polymerizing initiator having been used in the polymerization for the production of an acrylic adhesive resin based on the adhesive resin is used.
