PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical adhesive composition excellent in balance of moisture permeability, adhesion to the skin and low skin irritation at the time of detachment and a medical adhesive tape or sheet composed of the composition. SOLUTION: The medical adhesive composition is composed of (A) a hydrocarbyl (meth)acrylate copolymer and (B) a higher fatty acid ester of a polyether polyol and comprises 50-95% component A and 5-50% component B based on total weight of components A and B, and an HLB of the component B by the Griffin method is 8-16.
