PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of efficiently performing a series of operations of creating a printed label by performing printing on a print medium and of disposing the created printed label on an object. SOLUTION: In a printer body 2, a tape member 30, the adhesion layer of which is provided on one side of a print layer, is housed in the state of being wound around a feed reel 11. When the printer body 2 is moved above the object, the tape member 30 is fed to the outside of the printer body 2 in such a manner that the adhesion layer faces the object. The print layer is bonded onto the object via the adhesion layer by being pressed by a thermal head 17. The thermal head 17 is driven based on a signal generated by an encoder 26, so that printing can be applied onto the print layer.
