A method for preparing highly pure nano-sized calcium carbonate is provided to control the particle size and crystal structure of calcium carbonate variously by changing reaction temperature, pH, and a catalyst. A method for preparing highly pure nano-sized calcium carbonate includes a step of performing a reaction to prepare calcium carbonate(2) having a particle size of 10-1000 nm while continuously spraying a calcium chloride solution(4) through a nano-porous sprayer attached to the inside of a reactor(1), in an internal condition of the reactor having a carbon dioxide gas pressure of 1-10 atmospheric pressure and a temperature of 1-50 °C. The calcium chloride solution has a calcium chloride concentration of 5-30wt%, contains 2 equivalents of ammonium hydroxide, and is adjusted to pH 5-12. |
