An ionizer of an air conditioning system for a vehicle is provided to prevent two discharge electrodes from being electrically connected to each other by disposing the two discharge electrodes at a distance from each other. An ionizer(40) of an air conditioning system for a vehicle comprises a body(42), a negative ion discharge electrode, and a positive ion discharge electrode. The negative ion discharge electrode and the positive ion discharge electrode have lengths different from each other. The air conditioning system includes an air conditioning case(10) having an inner passage(16) in which the ionizer is provided. The negative ion discharge electrode and the positive ion discharge electrode protrude downward from a ceiling surface(16a) of the inner passage.
