Covering film comprises an array of holes arranged alternately in first and second rows, each hole being marked with a visible or feelable identifier a, b or c, provided that at least 80% of the holes in the first rows are marked with a repeat sequence ababcb and at least 80% of the holes in the second rows are marked with the repeat sequence bcbaba. Independent claims are also included for: (1) hood for covering human hair, comprising a film as above; (2) altering the color of human hair by covering the hair with a hood as above, pulling strands of hair through the c-type holes to obtain a low strand desnity, through the a-type holes to obtain a medium strand density or through the b-type holes to obtain a high strand density, applying a color-altering product to the strands, rinsing off the product and removing the hood; (3) kit comprising at least one color-altering product container and at least one hood as above. |
