The present invention provides a two-part tubular hollow post body having ear portions extending so as to define and delimit a longitudinal space suitable for receiving a vertical fence portion in an interlocking manner. Two parts of the tubular hollow body of the preferred embodiment are designed to form post halves that fit into each other. Ear portions of post halves are provided at both sides to encircle one another. Said portions are arranged at each side so as to fit into each other in a manner to be fixedly joined when interlocked. Outer surfaces of each ear portion comprise lateral openings that coincide in mounted position for receiving a horizontal fence portion integral to said vertical fence portion. Said openings are longitudinally arranged in an equally spaced manner, which is suitable for engagement of fence material.
