Veneer reeling apparatus and a production method for laminated wood

A veneer reeling apparatus comprising: a connection conveyor (14, 34) that connects with a terminal end of a veneer dryer and which is provided with a pulse generator (19, 36); a detector (15, 37) that senses a veneer sheet (1) after drying transported on the connection conveyor (14, 34); a distance setter (17, 39) that sets a distance from the detector (15, 37) to a drive roller that is located downstream from the detector; a drive controller that controls driving of the drive roller; and a take-up reel (7) that is rotated following rotation of the drive roller by being kept in contact with an upper surface of the drive roller, wherein when a veneer sheet (1) in transportation on the connection conveyor (14, 34) is sensed, driving of the drive roller is stopped in response to an instruction from the drive controller (16, 38), and when a predetermined number of pulses corresponding to a set distance has been counted up, the drive roller is driven to wind a veneer sheet (1) on the take-up reel(7).
