A method of displaying a closed caption for a digital TV is provided to define processing of closed captions having the same priority to display a current caption with high priority. A method of displaying a closed caption for a digital TV includes a step of detecting closed caption information included in bitstreams(S10), a step of analyzing the detected closed caption information and aligning windows according to priorities thereof(S20), a step of increasing the priority of a current window and aligning the windows when there are windows having the same priority(S30,S40), and a step of displaying a closed caption according to the order of the aligned windows(S50).
