The dosing device for an anesthetic agent, comprises an evaporating chamber (9) for the enrichment of part of the fresh gas with the anesthetic agent and a dosing element (11) with a gas inlet (10) and a gas outlet (12) for the introduction of the anesthetic agent into a gas channel and with an adjusting means (13) at the dosing element, which consists of two dosing channels provided with a connection channel extending lengthwise continuously in radial and concentric manner. The gas flow passes through the dosing channels of the gas inlet over the connection channel to the gas outlet. The gas flow passes through the dosing channels of the gas inlet over the connection channel to the gas outlet. The effective length and/or the effective cross-section of the dosing channels between the gas inlet and the gas outlet is changeable with the adjusting means. The dosing channels are connected to u-shaped, are circularly passed on the largest part of the circumference and are arranged to each other in same distance. The cross-sectional area of the dosing channel is 0.1-20 mm 2>and is formed as wedge-shaped extending toward the flow or opposite to it. The dosing channel possesses a cross-section area changing itself with the angle of rotation. The gas inlet, the gas outlet and the dosing channels are arranged in a housing. The connection channel is adjustably/rotatably formed with the adjusting means opposite to the housing and the dosing channels. The dosing channels are arranged with the connection channel on a thin plate between the housing and a carrier plate. The cross-sectional area of the dosing channels is dimensioned with a position of the adjusting means in such a manner that the gas flow is interrupted by the dosing channels. |
