The method involves rotating a wheel in a phase, where a camber or a toe of the wheel is measured under the influence of the wheel impact for multiple rotation angles of the wheel. A camber value or toe value are measured in another phase using the rotation angles of the wheel that contains an influence of the impact. The impact influence is determined by using an average value of camber or average value of toe of the wheel. An independent claim is also included for a device for measuring camber and/or toe of a wheel of a motor vehicle.
