PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to record an image with a high resolution at the high speed while preventing from worsening an image quality caused by a white stripe and an unevenness of density. SOLUTION: As to a device for ink jet recording of using multi-pass type, one scanning and recording area is divided into predetermined pitches and recording duties to be determined according to the thinned mask pattern corresponded to each divided area are set to a different value. The recording duties corresponded to the divided area positioned at both ends out of the same areas formed by each main scanning are set to a smaller value than the recording duties positioned inside of them. |
