An automatic clearance adjuster of a support yoke and a rack pinion type steering device including the same are provided to facilitate the manufacturing process by reducing the number of components for the adjuster. An automatic clearance adjuster(300) comprises a support yoke(330) having a protrusion(334), which includes a smaller diameter portion(333) and a larger diameter portion(331) and a step portion formed between the smaller diameter portion and the larger diameter portion, a space assembly(320) having a coupling hole, which is inserted into the protrusion of the support yoke, and a yoke plug(310). The yoke plug includes a mounting groove, which is coupled with the protrusion of the support yoke. The space assembly includes a spacer(325) formed with a locking groove(327), an elastic member(323) to be mounted on the locking groove, and a pad(321).
