An illuminant post is provided to prevent a light from being broken due to external force by covering a core member with light transmitting members. An illuminant post comprises a core member(310), outside members(330), and light transmitting members(320). The core member is located at the center of the post and provided with openings(312) formed on respective surfaces. The outside members are fixed to the edge of the core member and have combining holes respectively. The light transmitting member is installed between the outside members to allow light from a light to pass through the light transmitting member.
