<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the time of space parts of leader tape by generating an auto reverse control signal by a comparator circuit when there is no monitor signal and only a recording input signal. CONSTITUTION:Monostable multivibrator A is triggered by recording input signal (alpha) and monostable multivibrator C is triggered in succession. Monostable multivibrator B, on the other hand, is triggered by monitor signal (beta) and FFD forming a comparator by both outputs of multivibrators C and B generates a set output of a low level. This FFD is reset, when signal (beta) disappears at a leader tape part and the output of multivibrator B also disappers, to change its high-level reset output into an auto reverse control signal, so that the tape will be reversed automatically. Therefore, the loss time at auto reversing operation of the leader tape is shortened in comparison with tape-end detection time.</p> |
