<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine system comprising game machines at home connected to a host computer via communication lines, capable of incorporating the commercial advertisement in the game software. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine system comprises a transmission-side device, at least two receiving-side game devices and communication lines connecting these devices. The transmission-side device comprises a storage device in which fixed data on the main program of the game software are accumulated, a storage device in which variable data on the commercial advertisement of the game software are accumulated, and a means for appropriately switching the fixed data and the variable data and transmitting the data. The receiving-side game device comprises a storage means for accumulating the transmitted fixed data and variable data. By transmitting the fixed data of the game software and updated variable data to the receiving-side game devices from the transmission side, the image always based on the latest variable data appears on a part of the game display screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
