Control and authentication method and system

The method involves identifying an identifier of an object (1) from a tag (11) e.g. bar code, where the tag is identified by a terminal (2) e.g. cellular telephone, equipped with a tag reader device (21) e.g. Bluetoothdevice. A location of the object is simultaneously obtained from the identifier. The location of the object is compared with a location of the terminal. A specific message is displayed on the terminal and sent via a telecommunication network (3) based on comparison. An independent claim is also included for a system for detecting and verifying objects equipped with markers through a telecommunication network.
