A wall or ceiling mounted detection unit has detectors for both carbon monoxide and a gas escape (natural gas or LPG). It is powered by a 12V or 240V supply and may be placed in homes and commercial premises. Multiple detection units may be installed around property where gas appliances or pipework exist. On Detection of gas, the unit sends a remote signal to a shut off valve which then isolates gas supply into property to prevent gas appliances emitting any further carbon monoxide or continuing to leaking gas. |
