A child support 100 to support a child while their photograph is taken comprises a body portion 102 and a head portion 104. The body portion comprises an elongate support member 106 to support a child, and the head portion comprises a head support member 108 linked to the elongate support member, and restraint wings 110. The restraint wings are inclined at an angle to a support surface 112 of the head support member, and are arranged to restrain the child's head such that the child's head lies substantially perpendicular to the support surface. The restraint wings may be arranged to be inclined at varying angles. The head portion may be fabricated of a transparent material or a coloured material. The support may comprise a background plate (301, Fig. 4) extending on the opposite side of the head portion to the support surface. The background plate may be the same colour as the head portion, to minimise the visibility of the head portion in a photograph. The body portion may comprise side pieces 107 located on opposing edges. |
