<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective thermal storage medium for a coolant in which a thermal storage amount per gas used is large and also to provide a thermal storage method for a coolant using the medium. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal storage medium comprises, as the constituent components, gas capable of forming an aqueous material of gas, water and a polymer which contains at a side chain at least one atoms selected from the group consisting of a nitrogen atom and an oxygen atom and contains also an alkyl group at the terminal position of the side chain and/or a polymer containing a heterocyclic group at a side chain, and the thermal storage method for a coolant comprises using this thermal storage medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
