A mounting plate fixing structure for a DIH(Drum In Hat) type parking brake is provided to simplify installation of a mounting plate on a back plate by fastening bolts into bolt holes of the mounting plate together with a cable connector and a back plate. A mounting plate fixing structure for a DIH type parking brake comprises a mounting plate(51), a back plate(50), a cable connector, and more than one fastening bolt. The mounting plate is provided with more than one bolt hole at the rear surface thereof. The back plate is provided with more than one through-hole, which conforming with the bolt hole of the mounting plate when the mounting plate is in close contact with the back plate. The cable connector is located at the back of the back plate and provided with a connector part for holding a cable. The fastening bolts assemble the cable connector to the mounting plate. The back plate has an insertion groove(1) having the same shape as the mounting plate for installation of the mounting plate.
