A sheet conveying apparatus, a recording apparatus, a correction information acquiring apparatus, a recording system, a method for conveying sheets and a method for acquiring correction information are provided to correct conveying errors by using first and second correction information via conveying correction units. A sheet conveying apparatus comprises plural rotary conveying devices and conveying correction units. The rotary conveying devices operate individually or in combination to convey sheets along a conveying path in at least first and second conveying phases. The conveying correction units operate to employ first correction information for correcting conveying errors of the first conveying phase during the first conveying phase, and to employ second correction information, which is different from the first correction information, for correcting conveying errors of the second conveying phase during the second conveying phase. |
