A plant growing block of a railroad key type is provided to prevent soil on a slope from being washed away by forming protrusions on the bottom of a block body in parallel. A plant growing block of a railroad key type comprises a block body(10), protrusions(11), and rings(16). The block body has a plant growing hole(12) at the center. The protrusions are separated from each other on the bottom surface of the block body, and extend on a slope in a horizontal direction. The protrusions of the block body are buried under the slope to prevent soil on the slope from being washed away. The rings are fixed to four chamfered edges of the block body so as to connect adjacent blocks with one another. |
