<p>A preformed resin composition based on gas barrier polyester resin is provided to improve barrier characteristics against gas, especially carbon dioxide, oxygen, nitrogen, and vapor, and to retain flavor. A preformed resin composition includes PET resin and 50-5000 ppm, based on the PET resin, of a nanoclay suspension. The nanoclay is dispersed in a suspension medium containing DMF through sonication treatment and has a particle size range of 20-100 nm. A method for preparing a preformed resin includes the steps of: adding a predetermined amount of nanoclay particles to DMF; dispersing the particles in the DMF through sonication treatment to form a suspension, or selecting a suspension of nanoparticle ib NEG; and injecting one of the suspensions into a PET resin in an injection molding device when a preformed product is manufactured to provide a concentration of nanoclay particles in the PET resin of 50-5000 ppm.</p> |
