A control switch assembly of an air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to reduce noise caused by interference between a knob and a knob containing unit by preventing the knob from eccentrically moving in operation. A control switch assembly(100) of an air conditioner for a vehicle comprises a shaft(120), a control panel(130) having a knob containing unit(131), and a knob(140). A supporting unit(150) having a hole(151) is formed at the knob containing unit to prevent movement of the knob by rotatably supporting an outer surface of the shaft. The cross-sectional shapes of the hole and the shaft are different to minimize contact surface between the hole and the shaft.
