Described is a profile for making frames for sliding doors/windows (1) including a fixed frame (2) defined by two horizontal members (3, 4) and two vertical members (5, 6), the profile (7) defining at least one first bottom horizontal member (3) and comprising two parallel sliding tracks (8, 9) made on a bottom base element (10); the profile (7) comprises: a cavity or seat (11) formed in the profile (7) through its full depth (S), extending transversally of the tracks (8, 9) and adapted to stably accommodate a thermal insulation or thermal break block (12), a part of which is shaped to match the cavity or seat (11) and which also acts on at least one part of the tracks (8, 9); and thermal insulation means (13) acting longitudinally along the full length (L) of the bottom element (10) of the profile (7) and acting also on the tracks (8, 9). The invention also relates to a method for making the profile (7); a door/window (1) obtained using the profile (7) and an accessory (12) for the profile (7). |
