AUTOMOBILE AXLE SHAFT AND THE MANUFACTURE METHOD

An automobile axle shaft and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase strength of the shaft and reduce noise and vibration by inserting a tube having a small diameter in a tube having a large diameter and contracting two ends through extrusion. A manufacturing method of an automobile axle shaft comprises the steps of: inserting a material(1') having a small diameter in a material(1) having a large diameter and preparing for extrusion; contacting the material having a small diameter with the material having a large diameter; forming space parts(s) between two materials; forming a diameter reducing part(3) and a spline part(4) to form splines(2) at two ends; forming the splines at the spline part through a rolling or cutting process and processing ring grooves(5); and cleaning a surface of the processed product and sorting the defect through a test.
