A lancet assembly (100) composed of a lancet (200) and a lancet case (102) for receiving a part of the lancet (200). The lancet (200) has a lancet body (204), a lancet cap (206), and a metal penetration member (210). The lancet body has a projection (212), the lancet case has a case body (114) and wings (116) located on both sides of the case body (114). Each wing has a stopper (122) projecting inward between the forward end (118) and rear end (120) of the wing, the forward end is joined to the case body, and the rear end is free. Accordingly, when outward force is applied to the stoppers, the wings are elastically expanded outward. |
