A semiconductor IC is provided to reduce current consumption by selectively controlling a buffering path of a clock signal with low power consumption in a power down mode. A semiconductor IC(Integrated Circuit) includes a clock signal buffer unit(200) and a signal delivery unit(300). The clock signal buffer unit receives clock and clock enable signals, buffers the clock signal selectively according to the phase of the clock enable signal, and provides first and second buffering clock signals having the same period. The signal delivery unit receives the clock enable signal and the first and second buffering clock signals, provides a clock output signal, and controls paths of the first and second buffering clock signals selectively according to the phase of the clock enable signal. The second buffering signal is generated in response to the digital level of the clock signal.
