A method for conduction of melting of iron-titanium concentrates, in which electric mode is determined by quantity of the electric voltage introduced into the furnace. Additionals, electric mode is changed depending on the period of melting by electric voltage and by introduced power in such, that on first stage melting which includes charging the furnace by mix and some period of melting at full charging, which amounts of 8-16 % on time from total duration of melting, electric voltage is equal to 19-22 V per each 1000 kW of the electric power introduced into the furnace, during subsequent time melting till the period of operational development of smelt on the chemical compound the electric voltage is equal 21-24 V per each 1000 kW of introduced power, during the final period of melting before the output of smelt which amounts toof 18-20 % on time from total duration of melting, the relation of introduced powers to voltage remains the same as in the preliminary period, but introduced power decreases for 10-25 % due to current reduction. |
