ELECTRO-DIELECTRO-PHORETIC DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

An electro-dielectric phoretic display device is provided to enable four color expressions on one unit cell by compositely using dielectric phoretic and electro phoretic. An electro-dielectric phoretic display device includes a charged electro phoretic particle, a dielectric phoretic particle, a pixel region(10), an electro phoretic electrode structure and a dielectric phoretic electrode structure. The electro phoretic particle and the dielectric phoretic particle are positioned in the pixel region. The electro phoretic electrode structure produces an electric field to guide a selective motion of the electro phoretic particle to the pixel region. The dielectric phoretic electrode structure produces an electric field to guide a selective motion of the dielectric phoretic particle to the pixel region. The electro phoretic electrode structure has a first electrode and a second electrode provided in both side of the pixel region for producing an electric field for motion of the electro phoretic particle.
