<p>Even when an accumulator size is comparatively small, it is possible to suppress degradation of smooth operation due to an excessive coolant remaining in an outdoor unit. An air conditioner (1) includes a plurality of outdoor units (2, 102), an indoor unit (4), a liquid coolant communication piping (6), a gas coolant communication piping (7), and a control unit. The outdoor unit (2) has a compressor (21), an outdoor heat exchanger (23), and an accumulator (24). The indoor unit (4) has an indoor expansion valve (41) and an indoor heat exchanger (42). When the control unit judges that the coolant amount in the heat source unit in an operating state is excessive, the control unit starts another heat source unit in a stop state or controls a heat source unit other than the first heat source unit in the operating state to pool coolant in the accumulator.</p> |
