A plasma display device is provided to realize effectively a black image and to improve light room contrast by attaching an external light shielding sheet on a panel thereof. A base part(110) is formed to transmit light at a predetermined refractive angle. An external light shielding sheet(100) is formed on the base part. The external light shielding sheet includes a pattern part(120) having a refractive index smaller than a refractive index of the base part. The pattern part has a sectional shape. A width of upper end of the sectional shape is larger than a width of lower end of the sectional shape. The pattern part includes a conductive material. The pattern part is formed of metallic materials such as Cu, Al, Ti, and Pb. |
